College Students

We work with college students at levels, in any academic major, and at all kinds of colleges and universities. We have helped first, second, and third year students find internships at leading companies. We work with students in their final year helping them conduct searches for full-time jobs after graduation.

Our services are designed to fit into your busy college schedule. You move through the steps of our process at a pace that makes sense for your particular search and academic schedule. We can also help you make the most of your college’s Career Services office, on-campus recruiting programs, alumni networking services, and online resources offered through your college, such as Handshake.

Most importantly, we understand the challenges of conducting a job search while also being a full-time student. Whether you know exactly what you are looking for or are still figuring it out, HireEdge is here to help.

Recent Graduates

Many students graduate without having found full-time employment. Don’t worry, that’s OK! We work with clients immediately after graduation and up to two years after completing their degree. We even work with clients who have some full-time work experience post-college but for whatever reason are looking to change career direction or find a more strategic “first job.” We can help you position your college and any post-college experience. As always, you can begin working with HireEdge at any time and our services are always designed to fit your schedule.

Parents

As a parent of a college student or recent graduate, you want the best for your child. But you may not know how to help them with their internship or full-time job search, or you may find it difficult to engage in productive discussions about their career plans. Like many parents, you may have thought that getting them into college was the hard part, and that the college would take care of the rest. Unfortunately, that’s rarely the case. Don’t worry, as advisors and parents of college students and recent graduates ourselves, we understand!

HireEdge works directly with students, graduates, AND their parents to create the most effective career launch team possible. Unlike your child’s college Career Services office, we can include parents as part of the process, engaging with you directly or with your child for consultations and feedback. We know you know your child better than anyone and can have an important role to play but may need an objective third party to help guide the process. HireEdge can help you launch your child into their post-college life and achieve their full early career potential.
